The hugely popular fighting game Apex Legends from Respawn Entertainment is by far one of Epic's BR Fortnite's most interesting and high-quality competitors. ardent fans of Apex will surely prove it - one of the most dedicated (and helpful) players has gone so far as to create a real bot based robot in the game. He can walk, honk, run, and shred smaller copies.
Words alone are not enough to show how effective this little project can be, so be sure to watch the official build video below. In it, YouTuber and The3DPrintSpace engineer summarizes the entire creation process. He showed himself calibrating the heads of the robot, assembling its various parts, and even recording its sounds directly from the game.
Given the number of subscribers, The3DPrintSpace appears to be an unknown figure in the developer community. Fortunately, maybe this video will change that. It definitely deserves more attention - the level of detail in this creation is amazing.
Everything from how the robot rotates (otherwise known as the "booty tag") to how it rotates its "head" makes you feel like you're out of the game. I've played a lot of Apex Legends myself, so I can check out the build here.
Unfortunately, unlike the game, the bot does not explode in an array of weapons, weapon attachments, and consumables when punching... Most likely. But we let The3DPrintSpace do that. After all, it's a shame to throw everything that went into Loot Tick in just one explosive finale. Even if it looks very cool.
