The return of the G4. The US Television Network, which has been supporting tech-loving youth, will return to online television and re-broadcast later this year. G4 said it continues to create channel-specific content for social media platforms and YouTube, as it has done over the past year.
This network featured many unforgettable shows during its initial performance, including Attack of the Show! and X-Play. The screensaver, the transition from the TechTV integration, ran for another year before the final episode aired on March 18, 2005. The G4 will stop broadcasting on New Year's Eve 2014.
Tech media with video-themed content was a rarity during Peak G4 and TechTV. YouTube only launched in 2005, and aside from the occasional local news feature when a big commercial hit town, the technology wasn't discussed much in the mainstream media.
Certainly more important than the content itself are the posts that some have helped launch and what those people have done since.
G4 revitalized its Twitter channel mid-2020 and stopped coming back, now it's official.
