https://safirsoft.com Over 1 million covids were registered in the US on Monday - a world record
Monday's high probability includes arrears, but more cases are missed with home tests. The transmissible Omicron-type coronavirus continues to spread widely.

Possibly includes daily number of overdue cases over the weekend. But as more people rely on home tests to detect Covid-19 infections, this number is likely to be lower than recent cases.

Despite the rise in cases nationwide, the eastern United States has the highest case rate. The sharpest increases were New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C., which have the three highest infection rates in this country. Louisiana, Maryland and Alabama all reported the largest increases in cases in the past two weeks. The United States reported more than 1017,000 cases on Monday, up from a total of 585,000 cases on December 30, according to the New York Times. The current seven-day average in the United States is 486,658, an increase of 239 percent in the past two weeks. The cumulative number is over 56 million, the highest in the world. India, the second largest country in the world with about 35 million cases, recorded a daily record of 414,000 cases in early May this year. The United States — and many other countries around the world — use omicrons, which have been shown to be far more infectious than any other country before, including the rapidly expanding delta. Data on omicon infection is still preliminary, but the evidence collected so far shows that omicon waves are much milder than previous waves, with fewer hospitalizations and deaths, compared to a 239 percent increase in cases in the past two weeks. Only a 41% increase and the current daily average is about 98,000. Although hospitalization delays are increasing, the relatively slow increase in hospitalization indicates that the hospital-to-hospital ratio is eventually declining in this wave.

However, hospitalizations are very high and stressful on health systems. They were already affected by the previous waves, they were inactive and tired. Even if a smaller proportion of omicron cases land in the hospital, the initial number is still high. The country is fast approaching the record number of all Covid-19 hospital admissions per day, which was recorded at around 137,500 in mid-January last year. Experts expect the Omicron wave to continue rising in the coming weeks.
