This is a 32-inch IPS monitor with a resolution of 1440p with a maximum refresh rate of 180Hz. It's basically a larger version of the LG 27GP850, offers very similar features, uses the same LG Nano IPS technology for the screen, and is visually quite similar. The 32GP850 is priced at $100 higher than the 27GP850, which is the standard price difference between 27- and 32-inch monitors. With the 27GP850 currently priced at $450 or now, the 32GP850 is currently priced at $450. It's $550, and it's still a fairly common price for mid-range and high-range gaming monitors.

There are slight differences in This design. The front chin of the screen, so the bottom edge of the screen with the LG logo on the 32GP850 is a bit thicker than the 27GP850. Everything else is just bigger. But with the angular pillars and the red reliefs, we get the same kind of basic design, the same use of materials, which is mostly standard black plastic for the outside, and the same circular design on the back.

I support this rear design because it facilitates access to the rear ports. It's not ideal for wall mounting, but it prevents scuffing during installation. Two HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4, as well as several USB ports and an audio jack. HDMI ports are limited to 144Hz at maximum screen resolution, so DisplayPort must be used to reach 180Hz capabilities.

This means that the 32GP850 does not properly have an overdrive mode that provides optimal results with refresh speeds. But it's also not the worst monitor that requires overdrive modes, as the usable range of both normal and fast modes is very high. In fact, only at the upper end of the refresh rate using normal mode and at the lower end using fast mode, this performance is unacceptable. Gamers who want to play between 80 and 140 Hz will see very similar results in both modes, and my preference for this mode is "Set and Forget" for fast adaptive sync.

This is not as good as the 27GP850, which is still more of a usable range due to its slightly better response time. However, it's not as bad as monitors that have a narrower usable refresh range for their overclocked modes. In short, the results are by no means great, but they are not shocking. Variable speed is good for fixing these long-term problems.

Compared to other similar monitors on the market today, this category is 1440p monitors, 32GP850 As I talked a moment ago, 27GP850 is faster compared to the best and the best performer is not fast with maximum refresh rate. The 27-inch model reported an average response time of 4.7mm, while the 32-inch averaged 5.7ms, albeit with a lower throw. So the results for the 32GP850 aren't much different from other LG Nano IPS displays, but they're not very high on the best 32-inch models I've tested, or indeed the IPS models.

The price of the 32GP850 is much better in moderate performance in the update range, in this case using the quick mode we recommended earlier. The 32GP850 is again slower than the 27GP850 and doesn't have a fully improved overdrive, but is somewhat competitive with the other models. For example, it's faster than the Gigabyte M32Q, albeit with a higher firing rate, because the M32Q can't be pushed to a higher pressure setting for the newly-changing game without going over our surplus tolerance.

But I think the winner here is the Asus PG329Q which is the Variable Overdrive feature. Its response time is similar to that of the 32GP850, but with less acceleration in the refresh range, it produces a clearer picture.

The 32GP850's cumulative deviation shows as a mid-range performance, in the hustle and bustle of IPS screens that deliver around 500-550 in this benchmark. The 27GP850 tunes better with overclock settings, and again the PG329Q is the best, although we only get 10% better results than the 32-inch LG model. We also see that the 32GP850 and M32Q actually deliver the same numbers here.


120Hz fixed rate 32GP850 is enough, again a little slower than a 27-inch model, but with more acceleration than anything like the Gigabyte M32Q. Then at 60Hz, look again, it's very similar to the other monitors we tested, and if you lower the overclocking mode to the best mode for 60Hz operation, like we did here For all screens, you won't have any of the add-ons that are very priced right for this update.

The 32GP850's input latency is very good, with a processing delay of less than 0.5ms and lower overall latency from 10mm.Other monitors give you marginal improvements based solely on the results of high response time and read rate.The 32GP850 is a 180Hz monitor, which gives it a slight advantage over the 170Hz and 165Hz options, but all of these refresh rates are really similar to the real-time gaming experience. Check that the power consumption is good, a few watts lower than the other 32-inch 1440p IPS monitors I tested after calibration. There is not much difference, but the LG Nano IPS panel looks quite functional.
