Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 782G processor

Qualcomm has just unveiled the Snapdragon 782G processor as a successor to the Snapdragon 778G Plus processor.
Although Qualcomm a few days before We have unveiled our flagship processor, Snapdragon 8 generation 2, but a few hours ago we also saw the unveiling of a mid-range processor called Snapdragon 782G. A processor that, like Snapdragon 778G, is based on 6nm lithography and uses 8 cores.
The cores of the new Qualcomm processor are placed together in the form of 1 + 3 + 4, which includes a Cortex-A78 core. With a frequency of 2.7 GHz, three cores of the same type with a frequency of 2.2 GHz and four cores of the Cortex-A55 type with a frequency of 1.9 GHz. The only difference compared to the previous generation is that the frequency of the big core has been increased from 2.5 to 2.7 GHz, which is why we see a 5% speed increase compared to the Snapdragon 778G Plus. In addition to these, Adreno 642L is responsible for the graphics activities of the system, which is said to be about 10% faster compared to the graphics processor used in Snapdragon 778G Plus.
Just like the previous processor, Snapdragon 782G uses Quick Charge 4 Plus fast charging technology with the possibility of charging up to 50% in 15 minutes. Also, a series of other characteristics such as artificial intelligence accelerator architecture, triple 14-bit image processing system and the ability to process 2 gigapixels in one second and support a 200 megapixel camera are among the capabilities that the new processor supports.
Unfortunately, Qualcomm has not yet announced which company is going to use this processor as the beating heart of its phones. Slow, but as it seems, the first product will most likely be the Honor 80. The product will be officially unveiled tomorrow. Of course, these phones will probably be unveiled in different models such as standard, Pro, Pro Plus and SE, and the processor of the Pro model will be Snapdragon 8 Plus generation 1.
