Audi RS4 and RS5 Competition and Competition Plus were introduced

Audi recently introduced more performance and functional models of RS4 Avant (Station), RS5 Coupe and RS5 Sportback to users. This giant German car manufacturer will launch the Competition and Competition Plus models for those interested in the sportier versions of the mentioned cars. Of course, it is not yet clear whether these models will enter the United States market or not, but in any case, it is said that these new models with their new features can surprise the customers and enthusiasts of this company once again.

Audi company claimed that the cars RS4 Avant (Station), RS5 Coupe and RS5 Sportback Competition and Competition Plus based on Platform RS models have been produced. These new cars use Audi's advanced RS exhaust system, where two large oval exhaust outlets can be seen on both sides of their rear bumpers. This automobile group believes that the new exhaust system of Competition and Competition Plus models produce a more powerful sound than the regular RS models.
In addition to this, Audi has used less insulation between the engine and the cabin of these cars so that the car occupants can better hear the attractive sound of these models. We should mention that the power of these cars is provided by the 2.9-liter V-shaped twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine. Audi has made a series of changes and updates in the engine and gearbox software of the RS4 and RS5 Competition models, which will lead to faster gear changes and a more noticeable difference between different driving modes.
The maximum speed of the Audi RS4 and RS5 Competition and Competition Plus has also increased to 290 km/h. Competition logo can be seen on the body of Audi RS4 and RS5 Competition to distinguish this model from the standard model of these cars. Also, both Competition and Competition Plus models use matte carbon fiber trim on the frame of side mirrors, front fins, side flaps and rear diffuser. For the first time in Audi RS4 and RS5 cars, crystal black trim has been applied on the body of these cars. Customers can order 20-inch Phantom Black rims for Audi RS4 and RS5 Competition.
Inside the cabin, the piano black trim of the side panel of the seats has given a special beauty to the cabin of Audi RS4 and RS5 Competition. RS sports seats can also be ordered for these cars, which are upholstered in a combination of napa and dynamika leather. The black seat belt of the seats also has red edges. In addition to having all the mentioned features as standard, the Competition Plus model also uses a series of additional equipment such as the RS Sport Pro suspension system and manually adjustable dampers.
The elevation of this model compared to The standard RS model has been reduced by about 10 mm, which enthusiasts and customers can change as they wish. The suspension system of this model is equipped with harder springs and three-mode adaptive dampers and stabilizers, which can provide peace and security in driving to the drivers of this car. In the Competition Plus model, Audi has used a steering wheel with a fixed ratio of 1:13.1 instead of a steering wheel with a dynamic ratio.
Small changes have been made and planned on the quattro four-wheel drive power transmission system of this model. which transfers most of the power to the rear wheels of this car. Also, the new design of the ABS brake system software and the use of carbon ceramic brake discs have made Audi RS4 and RS5 Competition Plus able to reach a speed of 100 km per hour in a distance of less than 2 meters from the limit of rest.
No changes have been made in the engine system of Competition and Competition Plus RS4 and RS5 models compared to the standard models, and still from a 2.9 liter six-cylinder engine. The V-shaped cylinder uses two turbochargers, which can produce 444 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. But apart from this, Audi has also applied updates on these models to increase their power. Thanks to these updates, the Audi RS4 Avant Competition can reach 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the standard model.
Audi RS5 Coupe and Sportback Competition can also reach 100 km/h from standstill in 3.8 seconds, which is about 0.1 seconds faster than the standard model. Competition and Competition Plus RS4 and RS5 models are available from July 2023. Regarding the prices of these cars, we should mention that the Competition package for Audi RS4 and RS5 costs $7,800, and customers have to pay about $11,750 for the Competition Plus package.
