Last week, Samsung started ordering the Galaxy Chromebook Go, a low-priced offering under $300. This week, Asus broke with the Chromebook CX9 in the premium market.

First introduced at CES 2021, the CX9 is a 14-inch Chromebook with your choice of an 11th Intel CPU (up to Intel Core i7-1165G7) and up to 16GB LPDDR4. RAM is in phones and computers. Elsewhere, you'll find up to a 512GB PCIe gen 3 SSD, Intel Iris Xe graphics, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and more, like a physical webcam protector, a microSD card slot, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports USB-C ports.
