https://safirsoft.com Microsoft Chromium-based Edge browser is available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Highly anticipated: With the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/S series, consoles are slowly becoming like PCs. They include solid state drives, multitasking features, faster boot times, and older but still computer-like features like web browsing and Netflix streaming. However, with the latest software update for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms, Microsoft is working to blur the lines between desktops and consoles even more.

As of yesterday, Microsoft's Chromium-based Edge browser is available on both the current console and the latest generation of Xbox. When we say available, we mean it. This isn't a half-baked port, it's a full Edge PC experience, but it can be accessed from your console without hacking hardware or third-party software. PC version with mouse and keyboard support, which means you can surf the web, check your favorite subplots, log into social networks, access Google Stadia, use Discord (web version), transfer favorites and settings, and more. There's really nothing on the extensive list: this is a pretty straightforward feature. The older side was scored while testing Edge Chromium on Xbox, so there were no features like mouse and keyboard support. However, this gives you an overview of how things work.

Overall, this is a great idea from Microsoft. Xbox customers can still enjoy the simplicity and convenience of game consoles with the ability to do some things you can usually only do on your phone or PC. The PS5 may have started strong ahead of its main competitors due to its (arguably) more impressive lineup, but with features like these (and of course the Xbox Game Pass), it starts with the Xbox Series X and S, even if the most exciting are still the team's exclusive games. Green is a few years away, to present themselves as highly efficient alternatives.

I'm a PlayStation 5 player myself, so I won "You can't do this new update for a while. Download the Xbox and see how the Edge Chromium version works on the console.
