https://safirsoft.com YouTube Premium Lite trial offers YouTube without ads for $7 per month

YouTube separates Europe's premium music features.

At $12 per month, YouTube Premium offers ad-free videos, background playback on phones, and video uploads (both for YouTube and YouTube Music competitor Google Spotify). What if you don't care about music and all those extra features? If you do not want to see ads?

Google is testing a service called "YouTube Premium Lite". For $7 per month, you get YouTube with no ads and nothing else - no background play, video upload, or access to Music Premium.

The Verge has received an official statement from Google about the project and the company, describing the service as a "demo" that is currently available in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. . Here's Google's statement:

In Nordix and Benelux (except Iceland), we're testing a new offering to give users more options: Premium Lite costs €6.99 per month (or local equivalent per month) Includes ad-free videos on YouTube. YouTube Premium has always been associated with YouTube Music — the two services actually launched in an event dubbed "YouTube Red" Premium — and the features of this $7 monthly app were probably designed to make extra payments that don't go to music. In some secret music licensing agreements that are archived deep within Google's headquarters, background and offline streaming will likely be considered "music service features," giving music companies more than advertising revenue. Videos required. Google can reduce monthly costs without forcing music companies.

This offer is currently being tested, and the US Premium Lite page says, "This offer is not available." It is unclear if Google will offer this feature worldwide.
