https://safirsoft.com Samsung criticizes AMD Galaxy S22 GPU for showing off performances

The Galaxy Note and S22 Ultra are basically integrated, while the base S22 is getting smaller.

With the New Year coming new phones and Samsung will be among the first to ship with the Galaxy S22 series. The device should be available in the next month or two, so naturally there are plenty of leaks to look out for.

91mobile has Samsung's official renders of the company's next flagship. The big news this year is that the top SKU, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, has become a replacement for the Galaxy Note and will be available with the S-Pen for internal storage. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note with the S-Pen last year, with reports suggesting that the Note and S line are very similar, and that removing the smartphone series would allow Samsung to focus more on clamshell phones. The S22 Ultra, with its square design and S-Pen across all offerings, is a Galaxy Note unlike the name.

S-Pen fans will be happy, but Samsung is sacrificing some. Runtime for S-Pen storage. There is no need to create a large internal storage space for the stylus, and by 2020, the S20 Ultra will have a 5,000mAh capacity of 500mAh more than the 4,500mAh battery capacity of the Note 20 Ultra. This year, the S22 Ultra is rumored to reach 5,000mAh, thanks to an improved battery density, even with an S-Pen slot. However, the battery without the S-Pen would have been larger.

The cool model has separate rear camera lenses instead of last year's big bump. The front camera is still a hole in the wall, although it is difficult to see in these displays. Apparently, this phone is still built around a 6.8-inch screen with a frequency of 120Hz. The base model is S22. The S22 Plus should be just like this. base model S22. The S22 Plus should look exactly the same. 91 Mobile Phones

91 Mobile phones have also released renders of the base S22 model that seems to stick with last year's design. This means that the protrusion of the angled camera is due to the rounded corners. The new phone is actually smaller than last year's model, but with a 6.09-inch screen and 3,700mAh battery compared to the 6.2-inch screen and 4,000mAh battery of the S21.

In the United States, Samsung will be one of the first to launch a device with the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC (Xiaomi is the first). This chip is a sequel to last year's Snapdragon 888 and is Qualcomm's first ARM v9 SoC. The processor is based on the 4nm process and follows the recommended ARM design, with a 3GHz Cortex X2 core, three 2.5GHz mid-range Cortex A710 processors, and four Cortex A510 microprocessors. p>

These are all trademarked. New core designs allow high-end hardware to finally stop the old A55 core, which has been doing small core work for the past four years. ARM also works for a world of 64-bit processors. Only the mid-range A710 still supports 32-bit generation, and next year, ARM's flagship design will only support 64-bit code.

Elsewhere, Samsung will launch the Exynos SoC (Exynos 2200) as a response. ) on the Galaxy S22. It's possible that all of Qualcomm's description above will apply to Samsung's Exynos chip as well, but this year, the Exynos division is making a big change and partnering with AMD for the GPU. Samsung has already started announcing the partnership, calling for AMD's "RDNA 2" GPU architecture in a tweet:

#PlaytimeIsOver. The gaming market is about to get serious. Wait for the next #Exynos with the new GPU born from RDNA 2. January 11, 2022. pic.twitter.com/0H2MeVUbeS

- Samsung Exynos (SamsungExynos) December 30, 2021

Clearly sending An AMD Radeon GPU into a smartphone is a huge marketing win, but it remains to be seen how much of a difference in AMD performance it can make. Samsung also has an unpleasant path ahead as it appears that major markets, such as the US and China, continue to receive Qualcomm chips and are excluded from the Radeon Hip Festival.

As a tweet saying the big Exynos S22 will be unveiled on January 11th, shortly thereafter we will see the unveiling of the S22.
