https://safirsoft.com Samsung introduced the Odyssey Ark, a 55-inch curved gaming monitor that can be rotated vertically.
What happened? Yesterday Samsung unveiled its other Odyssey gaming monitors at CES, which fall into the funky monitor category. Not only does the Odyssey Ark measure 55 inches, but it also has a massive bend that can be rotated to portrait.

Samsung grabbed gamers' attention earlier this week with the launch of the 32-inch Odyssey Neo G8, the world's first monitor to combine 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. With the Odyssey Ark, another 4K monitor, Samsung hasn't revealed refresh rates or other specs, but it does have a few features that set it apart from the bunch.

https://safirsoft.com Samsung introduced the Odyssey Ark, a 55-inch curved gaming monitor that can be rotated vertically.

The most striking feature of this screen is that it is large: an outrageous 55 inches, which makes it the size of many standard TVs. Samsung says the 16:9 screen's "multi-display" feature uses an "adjustable screen size to fit the game or app without harming the 4K screen and bright color images." It also has a contact controller for brightness management and an interface.

This screen has a very sharp curve - Samsung has not detected the Radius (R). The 49-inch Odyssey Neo G9 has a 1000R curve, so we can take a look at the same here.

Here's your first look at the Samsung INSANE Odyssey Ark! This is a 55 inch 4K curved monitor with an aspect ratio of 16:9... that can play serious / multitasking games in the field! #ces #samsung pic.twitter.com/Y82hbeY9gg

But the Odyssey Ark's most interesting feature is its ability to rotate vertically. This feature is available on many monitors, but it's not something you'd expect to find on a 55-inch or 55-inch screen. With such an aggressive curve. Samsung says it's giving users a "cockpit-style" view in order to "deliver a new gaming experience". The Schofield team shows how this trend can be used to multitask with games, streams, and videos opening at the same time. Or you can just have the world's longest Twitter feed on your screen.

There is no information available on Odyssey Ark's availability or pricing. The Odyssey Neo G9 is priced at $2,500 for MSRP, so expect a high price. .
