https://safirsoft.com Tesla is said to have postponed production of the Cybertruck to next year
Tesla fans seem to be waiting a little longer to buy the Cybertruck. The new report indicates that the initial production of this electric car will not start in 2022, because it has been postponed until the end of the first quarter of 2023.
The delay is due to Tesla changing some of the Cybertruck's features and functions in light of the increasing competition in the electric pickup market, according to Reuters, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Lending is attributed to Tesla's Cybertruck order page. It was said that "you can complete your configuration as production approaches in 2022". "When you get close to production, you can complete your composition," he says now. The Verge notes that references to the year were dropped at the end of December 2021.

There was a lot of excitement when Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019. CEO Elan Musk told investors last year that Tesla might be able to Complete some electric vehicle deliveries to customers before the end of 2021, but that never happened. Instead, we heard in September that the truck wouldn't be in production until late 2022. Now, that date has changed to next year.

While a source from Reuters says the delay is due to design changes, it is hard to imagine that the lack of global chips has not affected the decision in any way. Musk himself declared in November that the crisis had affected the production of cybercrime. But given the excellent sales of the Model 3 and Model Y, Tesla isn't likely to worry about delays in picking them up.

Oh man, this year has been a supply chain nightmare and it's not over yet! I will provide an updated product roadmap on the next revenue call.

Tesla previously said the cheapest Cybertruck has a single engine, rear differential and starts at $39,000. However, there are rumors that this model will be removed. Meanwhile, the three-engine flagship version is expected to hit 60 mph in less than three seconds, have a range of more than 500 miles per charge and a towing capacity of more than 14,000.
