Why does Samsung not want to make a rollable phone?

Although Samsung is very active in making foldable phones, it has not yet shown any special desire to produce rolling phones.
In the market Smartphones, Samsung is undoubtedly the best company currently active in this field. No company even comes close to Samsung, but in the rollable phone market, things are different. No company is active in this sector, but considering that it is said that next year is supposed to be the booming era of phones with flexible screens, we expected a series of companies to make at least an effort in this field, but to our surprise, Samsung has not made any special move at all. .
Since Samsung has unveiled many flexible displays in the last couple of years, it was expected that the company's next strategy would be to produce rollable phones. But one of the analysts of the research institute UBI Research believes that since the rolling phones (slides) will be placed in the same category with the folding phones if they enter the market, and not in a separate category, it is unlikely that Samsung will focus on them flexibly. Instead, this Korean company will probably continue to make the same folding phones.
But this will probably make other companies take advantage of the vacuum and launch their own rollable phones. Among these companies, we can mention Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and Lenovo. The mentioned analyst says that since these companies cannot compete with Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip in the folding phone market, they will most likely go to the production of sliding or rolling phones so that they can compete with Samsung and its powerful folding phones.
It was last month that Motorola unveiled a rollable phone (concept design) at the Lenovo Tech World event, which could increase the size from 4 to 6.5 inches. This means that Chinese companies are trying to differentiate themselves from Samsung by producing rollable phones. It remains to be seen what Samsung's plan is for next year and flexible phones in general, and whether Chinese companies can challenge this Korean company and its folding phones by making rollable phones.
