The renderings of the Porsche 718 Boxter electric were revealed

Previously, Porsche announced that it plans to take a very big step in the electrification of its sports products with the release of the next generation 718 Cayman and Boxter as fully electric. In this regard, pictures of the black prototype of the electric Porsche 718 Boxter have been revealed on social networks, which show the design of this electric super sports car. The current generation 982 Boxter and Cayman were released in 2016, and this will be the last two-seater sports car from Porsche with an internal combustion engine.
- 2024 Porsche Macan will probably have 610 horsepower
If you are a fan of the current 718 series, the good news is that despite the complete removal of the internal combustion engine, the next generation Porsche sports car will retain its mid-engine. As previously announced, this car will be developed based on the Mission R concept platform and its styling will also be inspired by this concept. The leak shows that the headlights are slightly narrower, two large air intakes are placed around the front bumper, and in the style of the 992, new LED taillights are connected. Also, the central exhaust outlet of this car is not real and its original location is covered by the designers of this company in this prototype.
The appearance of this car suggests that we are dealing with a fierce sports supercar. Porsche recently introduced the concept of this car with 1073 horsepower and four-wheel drive system, but the final model of the production line is likely to have very different specifications. There is also a possibility that Porsche will offer this car in two rear differential and four wheel drive models to customers and enthusiasts. It should not be disclosed. But Porsche is expected to update the electric car's cabin with at least two large screens and more buttons. As mentioned, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h of the electric Porsche 718 Boxter takes place in just 2.5 seconds, and its maximum speed will reach 288 km/h.
This German automaker has tried to maintain its conservative approach in designing this car and not make many changes to it. Also, according to rumors, the battery of this car will be placed between its two axles to provide better handling to the drivers. Porsche has announced that the next generation Cayman and Boxter will enter the production line in late 2024 and will be available to enthusiasts in 2025. Also, the electric Porsche 911 will probably be launched at the end of this decade.
- The price of the 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera T starts at $118,000
