The iPhone 15 series is likely to come with curved titanium side frames

A new rumor circulating on Twitter claims that Apple may be considering a small but significant design change for next year's iPhone 15 series. In this regard, "ShrimpApplePro", a well-known technology whistleblower, says that the iPhone 15 series will probably use a curved side frame instead of the flat side frame used in the iPhone 12, 13 and 14 series.
This change can harmonize the design of the iPhone 15 series with the design changes of the latest Apple products. Such a design can be clearly seen in Apple's latest MacBook Pro; Where the side frame of this laptop is designed in a curved shape and looks like the letter "J". Interestingly, the iPhone 5c, which was made almost a decade ago, also uses a flat screen and a curved side frame similar to the rumored design of the iPhone 15 series. Of course, we have to wait for official news from Apple.
Using the design of old products in new products is not a new issue, at least for Apple. Although the latest iPhone design with curved edges seems to be popular, Apple has used the curved design of these phones for years, starting with the iPhone 6 and culminating with the iPhone 11.
ShrimpApplePro also claims that Apple may use titanium instead of stainless steel in the iPhone 15 series. Since titanium is very expensive, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra are expected to use titanium frames. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will most likely use stainless steel frames, which will be much more resistant than the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models equipped with an aluminum body.
Considering that the iPhone 15 series still supports the Magsafe magnetic charger, the American technology giant will not change the back glass panel of these flagship smartphones. Apple recently added titanium products to its product ecosystem, including the Apple Watch Ultra, which was launched with this body only.
It is expected that four new iPhones will be unveiled in September 2023. : iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra (Pro Max). In addition, it is said that next year, all models of the iPhone 15 flagship smartphone series will reach users with a punch-hole display. li>
