Among the many new HMD Global announcements is the Nokia XR20, which the company says is designed for long-term use. This default is helped by the right mix of hardware and software, including a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 480 SoC, a solid build without the proper coils, plus firmware updates and a good security policy. Other upcoming Nokia products include the C30 smartphone, the 6310 feature phone, and a wide range of wireless headphones on Clarity, Comfort, Micro and Go displays.
The new Nokia XR20 looks a lot better for a solid phone than most devices in this class. The phone has a 6.67-inch 1080p IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and an MIL-spec 810H compliant "ultra-hard" frame, along with IP68 dust and water resistance.
Below is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 480 5G processor. The SoC is running Android 11 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal microSD storage. Also, with a 4,630mAh battery that supports 18W and 15W wireless charging, the phone should easily last for a day.
