Poco X4 Pro 5G will probably be unveiled soon with Snapdragon 870 processor

Poco returned to the world of smartphones in 2020 with the launch of the Poco X2 and Poco F2 Pro. However, the smartphone that brought the company a lot of profit was the Poco X3. This device with a reasonable price and powerful specifications, was well received by users. A few months later, the Pro version of the phone hit the market and became the real successor to the Pocophone F1 smartphone market. It came at a very affordable price and came with a powerful flagship-like processor called the Snapdragon 860, which is essentially an overclocked Snapdragon 855+. Last month, the first rumors about the new generation of these phones, the Poco X4 Pro, were released. Now that the Poco X4 Pro 5G has been spotted in the IMEI database, these rumors are spreading.
Recently, Poco smartphones with the model numbers 2201116PG and 2201116PI were spotted in the IMEI database. The list also shows that both phones will be available under the Poco brand. Now, a new list published in the IMEI database confirms that a 2012116PG called the Poco X4 Pro 5G will be available to users. As the name implies, the successor to the Poco X3 Pro, this time with support for the fifth generation of mobile internet (5G), can attract more users. The Poco phone with the model number 2201116PG was also seen on the FCC website last week. The FCC website listing confirms that the future Poco phone will be available to users with the MIUI 13 user interface installed by default.

Apart from this information, it is difficult to guess the processor of this phone. Model number 2101116PI probably belongs to the Indian version of this smartphone. We assume that these handsets have similar specifications, unless the Indian branch of Poco decides to make changes to them. The Poco X4 Pro 5G is expected to have a more powerful chip than the Snapdragon 860. At the same time, in order to succeed in the smartphone market, this phone must also support the fifth generation of mobile internet (5G). We guess this is a Snapdragon 870 chip.
If this information is correct, Poco has done a very good job. We are curious to see if there will be further improvements in the phone such as a possible upgrade to the OLED display. Poco will probably release more information in the coming days. Poco already has information about this chipset, because the company's Poco F3 smartphone, which is based on the Redmi K40 Pro, uses this chip.
Many rumors suggest that the Poco X4 and X4 NFC phones will be available soon. According to the available evidence, the Poco X4 will only enter the Indian market, and users living in other countries can buy the Poco X4 NFC. Given that these phones are the same as the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, we can safely check their specifications. The two phones will most likely feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Their beating heart will be MediaTek's 6-nanometer Dimensity 920 chipset, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
