what happened? When it comes to the world's largest phone companies, Samsung and Apple have always been at odds over first and second places. Unfortunately for Cupertino, this is no longer one of the top two teams - Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has climbed one notch and is now behind Samsung, taking third place with Apple.

According to preliminary estimates by market research firm Canalys, Xiaomi saw its shipments grow by 83% last year, taking its phone market share to 17%. The 3% growth in the fourth quarter places it between Samsung first (19%) and Apple third (14%).

The other two Chinese companies remain in the top five.Oppo ranks fourth with a 10 percent share after 28 percent growth in shipping, while Vivo comes in fifth with a 27 percent increase in cent by 10 percent.

Don't put Xiaomi on the list again and classify it as a Chinese Communist military company, thus canceling one of the Trump administration's final orders when the company recently acquired the Redmi 8 after it exploded. Newspaper headlines.
