Logitech has released a compact version of the popular MX Keys wireless keyboard for manufacturers looking to save space. However, that doesn't save them money, as the Keys Mini with its bigger sticker is priced at $100.
MX Keys Mini Wireless is a simplified keyboard suitable for developers and users working on multiple platforms who pay a premium for a mini wireless keyboard or now invest in the Logitech ecosystem.
Like the larger MX switches, the Mini Edition offers connectivity, the ability to switch with up to 3 devices simultaneously, and support for Logitech's Flow software for seamless integration between macOS and Windows. Although it connects via Logitech Bluetooth and a recently released USB Bolt Receiver, the purchase is an additional $15, which is disappointing considering the $100 asking price of the MX Keys Mini.
The keyboard desktop keys use scissors. They are marked and named for macOS and Windows commands, although only the Mac version is available in a gray/white color combination. It is also compatible with other major operating systems such as Linux, Android, iOS/iPadOS and Chrome OS.
