https://safirsoft.com Samsung has started mass-producing LPDDR5X memory, paving the way for mobile devices with up to 64GB of RAM.

LPDDR5 has yet to be used by companies like Apple, which has so far only made it onto a handful of mobile devices. However, that doesn't stop Samsung from coming up with LPDDR5X memory, which is faster and more energy efficient, and allows phone makers to have more RAM than ever before in mobile devices.

In August 2020, Samsung began producing 16 GB of LPDDR5 DRAM on the world's largest semiconductor line, allowing 16 GB of RAM to be stored on devices such as phones and tablets. The company has seen rapid jumps in performance, power efficiency, and memory density over the past few years — with 8GB LPDDR5 chips in 2018 and 12GB chips in 2019.

This year, South Korea held. The tech giant is taking another step on this journey with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which is expected to be used in a variety of applications other than smartphones. The new memory is 1.3 times faster than LPDDR5, which means it can transfer data up to 8.5 gigabits per second.

It requires 20 percent less power to run than LPDDR5 memory, but most importantly, the new 16GB LPDDR5X chip allows makers to Mobile devices store up to 64GB per memory packet. We expect you to see a new memory release on real devices in the first half, and by 2023, many manufacturers (including Apple) haven't used current LPDDR5 technology.Meanwhile, Samsung says it will start working with global chip makers to create a framework more suited to the expanding digital world, using LPDDR5X from which the enterprise's core ground zero works.

In related news, Samsung's Exynos Instagram account released A teaser for the upcoming Exynos chipset. The new mobile SoC will be revealed on November 19, and while some expect the Exynos 2200 to feature an AMD graphics processor, the timing suggests we might see a mid-range chipset instead.
