More ReadingWin devices, collectibles, and more at Ars Technica's 2021 Charity campaign So far this year, nearly 300 readers have donated nearly $30,000 to the Electronic Frontier or Child's Play Foundation. Part of a charitable Drive (EFF is now leading the way with total donations of around $4,500). That's a far cry from last year's record of over $58,000, but there's still a long way to go before Charity Drive ends on Friday, January 7. Do yourself a favor and the charities involved and do it with you in mind. Don't let your mind wander and end up kicking yourself for not participating. .

How it works

Donating is easy. Simply Help Child's Play with PayPal or EFF Help with PayPal, Credit Card or Bitcoin. You can also support Child's Play directly by selecting an item from a particular hospital's Amazon Wishlist on their donation page. Donate as often as you feel comfortable - every part helps.

Once you've done that, it's time to enter the sweepstakes. Simply make a digital copy of your receipt (send an open email, screenshot, or simply cut and paste text) and send it to ArsCharityDrive@gmail.com with your name, mailing address, daily phone number, and email. Address as of 11:59 PM EST on Friday, January 7, 2022. (One company per person, and each person can only win one prize. US residents only. No purchase required.
