Razer has added a new member to the Basilisk mouse family and has a feature that older Logitech users should be familiar with. The new Basilisk V3 is a wired gaming mouse that Razer calls the HyperScroll smart wheel. Users can set the scroll wheel to automatically switch from touch and spin to free spin depending on the spin speed. You can also change this function with a button near the wheel for more control of the feature.
If you remember, over 15 years ago Logitech introduced a very similar feature called SmartShift with the MX Revolution Mouse. The company later modified this feature for manual activation. Both were very useful in certain game situations as well as in everyday desktop use.
You will also find 11 Razer Chroma lighting zones with 16.8 million. Custom color options, advanced takeoff/landing distance settings and in-flight sensitivity settings. The Razer Basilisk V3 is $69.99 and can be written directly from Razer.
