Konami NFT Sells Castlevania To Celebrate Its 35th Anniversary

NFTs were a hot commodity in 2021. In December, consumers spent nearly $27 billion on virtual goods ownership, and there's no reason to believe the pace of the holiday season has slowed.

Some might assume that between NFTs there is a clear relationship between players, but the data up to this point is not much help in validating that assumption. In fact, doing the opposite seems a bit confusing, which makes gaming companies like Konami pay for it.

However, here we are as Konami prepares to auction a few Castlevania NFTs to celebrate its 35th anniversary. Anniversary of the franchise.

Works The gaming company with OpenSea in the auction, a leading online marketplace for virtual sets. The auction page is currently active, although bidding doesn't start until January 12th.

Those who purchase NFTs will also have the opportunity to publish their name on the Konami website until at least the end of the year.

Since this is not an in-game NFT rendering that we haven't seen from other game developers, it's hard to predict with certainty how things will go.
