"When I put on this suit, I encountered a lot of enemies."
I admit, I wasn't entirely excited about Mark Hockey's upcoming Disney+ series. Given the relatively minor role of this character in several Avengers films, it seemed like an odd choice. But the studio released the official trailer this morning, and I'll probably just change my mind. Hawkeye looks like a fun holiday, comedy and holiday, and airs on the platform just in time for Thanksgiving/Christmas.
According to the official premise:
Ex-Avenger Clint Barton appears to have a simple mission: to return to his family for Christmas. Is it possible? Perhaps with the help of Kate Bishop, the 22-year-old shooter aspires to become a superhero. The two are forced to work together when Barton's past presence destroys too much of the festive spirit.
It's clear that Jeremy Renner is back as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and the actors who played his three roles. Kids, Cooper (Ben Sakamoto), Layla (Ava Russo), and Nathaniel (Kid Woodward). Thanks to the final credits scene of Black Widow Jelena (Florence Poe) meets Valentina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) at Natasha's grave, we know she was tampered with and we blame Clint for her adoptive sister's death. seeking revenge. Pog's inclusion in the cast pretty much confirms this.
For new faces, Hailee Steinfeld (who was nominated for an Academy Award for True Grit at age 13) plays Kate. It's entirely possible that he'll be gearing up to become the new Hawkeye in Phase 4 of the MCU, although this hasn't been officially confirmed. Voiced by Gwen Stacy in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, he's definitely a strong character here.Advertising
Vera Farmiga plays Kate's mother, Eleanor Bishop, while Alacoa Cox plays Maya Lopez/Echo. A deaf Native American woman is able to perfectly copy the movements of others. (Cox himself is deaf, and there is currently a sub-series in development featuring Maya/Echo.) The cast also includes Brian Darcy James. Tony Dalton as Barton's first coach, Jack Duxon; Jean McClarnon as Maya's father, William Lopez; They fled as Kazee.
The trailer begins with the Barton family reuniting at a Chinese restaurant in New York City for Christmas. Clint tries to make up for lost time by spending more time with her kids. We get some lovely holiday scenes, including a fun look at Rogers' Hamilton-inspired musical! , Celebrating Captain America and the Avengers.
The calm is interrupted by news reports about a masked man. Watch out, it might be the same consciousness that assassinated the "underworld" a few years ago. Hawk returns to that scene in Endgame, where we see him in the Ronin costume. "I've been involved in the past," he told his daughter, reassuring her that there was nothing to worry about (yes, that's right). Then he put the kids in a limousine and promised he'd be home at Christmas. As Clint was thwarting some criminal activities, he said "You are hockey!" Naturally, the problem arises - because Clint found many enemies during his waking days, and they seem to be back in blood. Fortunately, these two teams are great. A car chase where Clint discourages him from using what he considers "dangerous" bullets. Kate then creates a bull shot that explodes the Trust-a-Bro's mobile pickup truck. “Is your arrow more dangerous than that?” There's no sign of Yelena, but we're sure she'll show up eventually.
