Rockstar Games has revealed that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition will release on November 11th on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC via the Rockstar Games launcher.
Specifically, the trilogy will be available digitally on November 11th. If you're looking for the physical version, you'll have to wait until December 7.
< Grand Theft Auto III, which defines the genre, came out on October 22, 2001, and forever changed our perception of what an open world game could be. Today is the 20th anniversary of its release and it's a good day to announce the launch details of the trio. Rockstar said that the definitive version introduces new controls inspired by GTA V as well as an all-inclusive. Visual improvements such as sharpness improvements, a completely redesigned lighting system, better shadows, weather and reflections, car models, updated characters, higher texture resolution and more. Players will also see new foliage, smooth surfaces, and increased drag distances, but Rockstar says the games' original look must be preserved. Rockstar has also released a new trailer for the trilogy, highlighting the many visual effects. Potential buyers can expect improvement. Those interested can pre-purchase the trio on their favorite platform for $59.99 starting today. There doesn't seem to be any free upfront ownership this time around.
