Hot Potato: Open world games are not the best genre for those who don't have much time to play. This is especially true for the future of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, where the developers say it will take 500 hours to complete everything it offers.

The continuation of zombies-meet-parkour 2015 is one of the most anticipated titles of this year. The first game also requires a relatively large investment of player time, around 55 hours, but according to a recent tweet from developer Techland, it will take 500 hours to complete everything in Dying Light 2500. This equates to more than 20 days of continuous gameplay, or, as the company says, At the same time walking from Warsaw to Madrid (about 534 hours).

Techland confirmed this vital warning in a subsequent tweet: It takes 500 hours for the game to be 100% complete, “All missions Endings and exploration around the world. The good news is that those who just want to finish the story and side quests for Dying Light 2 need 70 to 80 hours longer but less time.

It takes time. Techland's Pride in a 500-hour game didn't seem to be as well received as expected, so it's been confirmed that this game is only for those who've completed it for the long haul. Many people want to get the value for money out of the game, but it shouldn't come at the expense of filling up on boring and repetitive fillers. On the other hand, there were those who welcomed the news that they will be playing Dying Light 2 for a very long time.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human comes February 4th after several delays. If you want to finish it before Elden Ring launches on February 25th, expect to work hard. If you want in-game packet tracing effects, even at 1080p, Techland recommends the RTX 3080.
