https://safirsoft.com Bioware is said to have developed Dragon Age 4 only for next-generation consoles and PCs

Rumor has it that EA and Bioware seem ready to fully embrace "next generation" consoles. While many studios produce both the latest and current versions of their games at the same time, the Dragon Age 4 game developer previously indirectly revealed that the game is only for PS5 and XBSX | S and PC supplied.

Rumor has it that the next release of Bioware in the Dragon Age franchise will be a "next generation" exclusive, which means Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users will miss out on the fun. This news comes from a Twitter user who discovered that Daniel Nordlander, the former designer of Dragon Age 4, mentioned the game on his LinkedIn profile as "PS5/Xbox Series X+S/PC". Northlander worked with Bioware from 2017 to 2020 and previously worked on Anthem, so he needs to know which platform Dragon Age 4 will be released on. However, the game is still in the early stages of production due to delays and resignations of key employees. Bioware and EA haven't announced anything about the DA4, except for some teaser trailers that don't even mention a vague editing window. Therefore, for the time being, the next generation monopoly is best viewed as speculative.

Development of Dragon Age 4 4 began in 2015 with the codename "Joplin". However, when problems arose with Mass Effect: Andromeda, Bioware changed its staff from DA4 to help them. The same thing happened later when the studio got into trouble with Anthem. EA finally canceled the project in early 2018, causing many veteran Dragon Age developers to pull out of Bioware. The project was restarted and codenamed "Morrison". The supposed commitment to next-generation hardware is somewhat refreshing.

The launch of the next generation of consoles last year brought something we hadn't seen before - back up report. While it's common for a studio to rebuild their old games or upgrade to the latest hardware, they rarely cut newer titles for release on older hardware. However, that seems to be the general trend for many games released this year, next year, and beyond.

Although the studio did not provide a specific reason for sending the backup report, it is possible that external conditions, including the lack of an ongoing console and continuing pandemic concerns, were a factor. Unfortunately, when developers split their resources for simultaneous production across two (or more) platforms, the design of one or both versions could crash. Avengers Square Enix and Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt Red are two examples. In the minds of both the earlier and later versions of Marvel, The Avengers generally suffered from poor design, and both critics and users viewed the title largely. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 were unplayable for most actors at the time of release. While PC gamers have had almost no performance issues, Sony has taken the PS4 game out of its offering for a while. Given the many lags and poor quality of the game, is it really worth it? I can't remember anyone complaining that Bethesda didn't release a PlayStation 2 version of Skyrim. When players finally upgrade their system, they buy the game again.
