Editor's note: As silly as it may sound, there are definitely people out there who enjoy Lawn Mowing Simulator (just see what the Farming Simulator series is all about). Indeed, this game looks pretty good based on the trailer that Curve Digital released earlier today.
Goat Simulator felt like the height of simulation when it launched in 2014, but as it turned out, it was just the tip of the iceberg. Subsequent entries in the genre like Job Simulator, PC Building Simulator and PowerWash Simulator caught the attention of fans, and now we brought you another SIM that fits perfectly in this weird collection.
Lawn Simulator is exactly what it sounds like - a SIM-style game focused on mowing the lawn. Players will experience the beauty and detail of lawn mowers in the UK "with a range of realistic lawn mowers from brands such as Toro and SCAG" (John Deere noticeably absent). Apart from just cutting random yards, starting and managing a lawn care business is the goal of this game.
Look out for Lawn Mowing Simulator coming to Steam and Xbox Series X/S on August 10th. It's not priced yet, but due to the system requirements on Steam, you need a semi-compatible PC to run it. For example, if you shoot at a steady 60fps at 1080p with high graphics settings, you need at least an Intel Core i7-6950X / AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, 8GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 2060 Super / Radeon RX. 5700XT.
