Uber has taken the Lyft route and eliminated app support on Apple Watches. As we saw on MacRumors Monday, the Uber Apple Watch app is still available but won't let you enjoy it once you have it installed.

In 2018, Lyft removed support for its Apple Watch. At the time, the company told MacRumors: "The latest Lyft iOS update no longer supports the standalone Lyft app for the Apple Watch. Lyft users will still have a great notification experience on their Apple Watch to make their journey easier. To continue."

As reported by The Verge, Uber also did not support a Wear OS Watch app in 2019.
