The company is targeting gamers with IP32 certification and eight-zone RGB backlighting.

Many popular electronic devices have fallen victim to a glass of water spillage. No matter how careful you are, leaks do happen. Next time you drop something on your desk, if you pick up a SteelSeries (TKL) keyless keyboard released today for $45, you might be worried about something else.

SteelSeries says the new Apex 3 TKL is water and dust resistant thanks to IP32 certification and a polymer frame. The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) rating ensures that the keyboard is not damaged by water droplets “when the chamber is tilted up to 15° at any angle”. The IP32 certification also means that the Apex 3 TKL is safe against dust as small as 2.5 mm in size. Certification Other gaming keyboards, such as the K68 Corsair mechanical keyboard, have the same IEC stamp, but it's very rare to find a waterproof keyboard in TKL shape. Water resistance, but most of them do not have a certificate. The Niz TKL keyboard produces a water-resistant submerge that is IPX68 rated, the second toughest waterproof and dustproof protection available. However, this level of protection costs $209.

The waterproof Niz Keyboard Series can be submerged in water. Zoom / Water Resistant The Niz keyboard can be submerged in water. Niz Keyboard As the new SteelSeries keyboard uses a member instead of mechanical switches, the lower price is reasonable. Apex 3 TKL offers some great features for gamers, such as the ability to store macros and eight-zone RGB backlighting which you can customize through the software for Discord response and gameplay.

The Apex 3 TKL marks the first SteelSeries product since the company was acquired by GN, the company's parent company, Jabra and other brands.
