https://safirsoft.com iPhone 13 and 13 Pro review: If you had three dreams

The new iPhone offers better battery life, superior cameras and a great screen.

Imagine that the genie meets you and brings you three wishes, but they should all revolve around what you want from your next smartphone. As market research shows, almost everyone has three dreams: great battery life, great cameras, and cool, beautiful screens.

This year, Apple is tech-savvy, because that's exactly what's on the shelves today iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Flagship Cupertino Due to the fact that the phones are almost identical to last year's models and there are no new features other than the higher refresh rate screens on the most expensive models, the phone line can look like a duplicate "S" update. But with Apple being a top priority for most people, this is a seemingly important, frequent upgrade.

at Last year, I briefly recommended the iPhone 12 Pro because the iPhone 12 offers enough. These two phones are not much different from each other other than the beautiful materials and the inclusion of the telephoto lenses and sensors of the cover in the phone is very expensive. This time around, the Pro model offers more: a better camera system, faster graphics, and a much longer battery life than the iPhone 13.

Now, it's the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max that make a huge difference. Last year we saw better performance of the camera system by Max. Now they're the same thing, so it's just a matter of screen size and battery life. Battery life Apple claims the iPhone 13 Mini can stream 13 hours of video playback, the iPhone 13 rates for 15 hours, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max is an impressive 25 hours. The ProMotion screen on Pro phones (we'll get to that soon) and most importantly, larger batteries. Apple has redesigned phones to make room for more battery capacity. When it comes to lithium-ion batteries, you can't change the laws of physics - but you can force them.

A15 Bionic

This is the most efficient A15 processor. Apple didn't claim much performance from last year's A15 compared to last year's A14, but we do know that the new SoC has a dual-core CPU with two and four cores, 5-core (on Pro models) or a quad-core GPU. O (on regular iPhone 13 models) and 16-core NPUs (this is the "neural processing engine" for machine learning at hardware speeds).

Performance doesn't seem to be the main focus of Apple's latest iPhone update — which is great, because last year's phones were now the farthest, fastest, and unmatched market. But we will share the results of our benchmarks later in the review. Dimensions The iPhone 13 measures 5.78 x 2.82 x 0.3 inches, or 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.65 mm. iPhone 13 mini comes in dimensions of 5.18 x 2.53 x 0.3 inches or 131.5 x 64.2 x 7.65 mm.

This makes it thicker than previous versions. The iPhone 13 Mini is still oddly small, and it's great to see a one-handed phone with a ton of features back in Apple's lineup. If we can make sure it will last next year. They both weigh more than their 2020 counterparts, 6.1 ounces or 173 grams for the iPhone 13 and 4.94 ounces or 140 grams for the iPhone 13 Mini and 5.78 ounces/164 grams and 4.76 ounces respectively. / 135 g.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 Pro weighs 7.19 ounces, or 204 grams, and the iPhone 13 Max weighs 8.46 ounces, or 240 grams. Last year: 6.6oz/189g for the 13 Pro and 7.96oz/226g for the max. You will feel the difference when you hold them next to the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 13 Pro measures 5.78 x 2.82 x 0.3 inches, or 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.65 mm. iPhone 13 Pro Max: 6.33 x 3.07 x 0.3 inches, or 160.8 x 78.1 x 7.65 mm. It's thicker than similar devices from last year.

For the first time, Pro models can be configured with 1TB of storage when purchased. Honestly, I don't think most people need that much memory on their phones. I have over 200 apps and games installed - far more than the average iPhone user - and some 4K videos to play, and I'm going to hit the 256GB mark. If 512GB of storage isn't enough, I have a long way to go.

If you add a ProRes video by adding this feature, you can make this 1TB flag relatively easy, but it's not really a common use.

What's even more exciting is that the cheaper iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini now start at 128GB instead of the meager 64GB, but at the same price as last year's 64GB models. In addition, they can now have a storage capacity of 512GB, which is enough for almost everyone.

In general, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB configurations, and the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max both, with a 1TB option.

Design

Apple once again differentiated the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max from a slightly lower category - between its material siblings. The first one has stainless steel bezels with a nice coating on them, plus a rougher back that feels nice to grip. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini both have simpler aluminum bezels and a back, but they still look great.

Last year, I described the design of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro as a return to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. Which many people (including me) consider to be the most beautiful iPhones. The same plan dates back to today. This look is quite similar to the previous one, with two notable exceptions. It never bothered me too much, but it seemed to include many others: the cutout, the matte black portion of the phone's screen that houses the front sensor assembly.

It's been smaller since Notch was introduced - about 20% horizontal. It's a little longer (you don't know this part without seeing it with your previous iPhone) but in general, you can restore some screen properties.

This is especially important for some full-screen games or other apps with custom interfaces, whose designers just pretend there aren't any cutoffs when designing the user interface. Apple has not made any changes to its software to use this recovered space.

Huge Cameras

But the slightly smaller gap isn't the most obvious design change compared to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. The rear camera system is quite large. The lenses are larger. The camera bump is more prominent. It is impossible not to notice it.

It doesn't look better or worse than last year's camera accident. But one more thing about this change that really bothers me: When we put the phone on the table or desk, the phone vibrates violently. It annoyed me a bit then, but that's another level. Sometimes writing or using the phone in this case becomes uncomfortable. This applies to the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, but it is worse on the iPhone 13 Pro.

.

Like other recent phones, Apple - the edges designed for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro re-fill the back, suggesting that Apple may prefer the same design. However, I'm sure Apple would be happy to sell these items to you to make your phone beautiful and clear!
