https://safirsoft.com AMD says the bug in Windows 11 can reduce the performance of a Ryzen processor by up to 15 percent

Software troubleshooting will be available later this month. Most people should not rush to install new versions of the operating system on the first day, and Windows 11 is no exception. AMD has released information about a pair of bugs that can reduce the performance of Ryzen processors running Windows 11 by up to 15%, although the slowdown rate will vary depending on your work and the CPU you're using. AMD expects both bugs to be fixed later this month.

The first issue that AMD identified was the threefold increase in L3 cache latency affecting applications that rely on fast memory performance. AMD says most affected apps slow by 3 to 5 percent, but some "commonly used games in esports" slow by 10 to 15 percent. AMD says Windows Update will fix the problem later this month, so you don't need to do anything special to fix the problem as long as you regularly check and install Windows updates.

The second drawback is the AMD processor feature that tries to use the fastest CPU cores when doing light work, not treating all cores the same way. AMD doesn't provide a number, but says the problem "may be more pronounced on processors with eight or more cores and a TDP of 65W or higher," including over 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 series. Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 become CPUs and APUs. AMD says that a "software update" will be released instead of a Windows update in October to fix the problem, so new drivers for the AMD chipset may be needed. Or install some other software to fix this problem. Show that the Memory Integrity security feature can reduce performance in some games and computing tasks by a small percentage, although results vary depending on the software you're using and your processor. Windows 11 is included but by default on both operating systems for all laptops and desktops sold by PC manufacturers O is disabled.
