Today, Acer introduced six new Chromebooks that range in price from $400 to $900. The company is updating its lineup with options for the latest 11th-generation Intel "Tiger Lake" processors, and while this list includes some of the cheaper standard Chromebook options, Acer also offers some more affordable options, and it has a fanless design for quieter operation.
Fanless 2-in-1 Chromebooks
The Acer Chromebook Spin 514 and Chromebook Spin Enterprise 514 are your top picks. It's more expensive than the regular Chromebook (Acer is currently offering $190), the Standard Edition priced at $700 in January, and the Business Edition priced at $900 for the December release.

Acer's friendly replacement, the Acer Chromebook Spin 314, downgrades the CPU options to a dual-core and dual-threaded Intel Celeron N4500 to a four-core, four-thread Intel Pentium Silver N6000 (without a lot of fuss here). The Spin 314 starts next month for $500.
New Acer Chromebook 515

The 3.75-pound device also has a webcam shutter. You don't have a USB Type-A port or a headphone jack yet, but the Chromebook 515 has two USB-C (3.2 Gen 2) ports, HDMI, and microSD.
Acer Chromebook 514 is a cheaper option; It starts at $400 and starts in December. However, there are some discounts. This oyster has only 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of eMMC memory. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Kompanio 828 processor and Arm Mali-G57 MCS graphics.
