What is this nonsense ?! As many tech industries suddenly jump on the train, more companies are expected to make virtual worlds like Ready Player One a reality. A step toward that goal is the ability to feel the digital world we live in, beyond sound and vision, as chemical tactile implants enter.

Developed by researchers at the University of Chicago's Human Computer Integration Laboratory, chemical contacts use stand-alone wearable devices to simulate emotions in virtual reality.
