What is this nonsense ?! We've seen the alarming development of robots from humorous pieces of metal in human form that act like drunks in parkour machines. But no one has ever been at least stupid enough to be able to arm someone with a gun — until now.
SWORD International has partnered with the evil voice of James Bond, who makes semi-automatic rifles, and Ghost Robotics. The first added a special unmanned aerial vehicle, or SPUR, to the second four-legged unmanned ground vehicle, or Q-UGV. It is strikingly similar to the metallic creatures seen in the TV show War of the Worlds and the killer dog robots from the Blackhead Mirror Metalhead episode. And of course from Battlefield 2042.
This robot was unveiled this week at the US Army's annual major annual conference in Washington, DC, Driver writes. The companies have never revealed the exact specifications, although we do know that the semi-autonomous robot has a 6.5mm semi-automatic rifle capable of shooting from 4,000 feet. Ghost Robotics said it can take the first round of empty mode with safe, fire and light capabilities.

“SWORD Defense Systems SPUR is the future of unmanned aircraft systems, and that future is Now," he reads in terrifying detail.
The drive notes that SWORD offers derivatives of the 5.56×45mm AR-15/M16 family, as well as similar but larger rifles. It also appears that a suppressor is used in this case.View this Instagram post
