Kobo Rakuten has introduced two new e-readers that expand the company's offerings to the mid- and high-end. The devices seem to stand out, at least on paper, from the new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition readers unveiled from Amazon's new generation.
Kobo Sage has been described as the company's most luxurious reading experience to date. This product has an 8-inch HD F-E-Ink Carta 1200 glare-free display with adjustable brightness and temperature control. There's 32GB of internal storage accessible via a USB-C connection, and Dropbox is supported if more space is needed.

Kobo Scale 2 , meanwhile, is the main heir to the mid-range e-reader.
