https://safirsoft.com Alexa asks a 10-year-old to do a killer
We've all heard stories about funny, crazy, or other fun things that the world's most famous virtual assistants can do. Siri is known for giving you directions to the nearest takeout location, while Alexa can fart. However, one Echo owner discovered on Sunday, that some of the fun activities of AI assistants can have disastrous consequences.

Echo owner Kristen Laudall tweeted Sunday to share a strange story with the world: On the same day, her 10-year-old son asked Alexa to perform. Instead of suggesting something relatively innocuous, like answering a puzzle, solving a math problem, or doing some simple physical stunts, Alexa advised them to "plug the phone charger in the middle into the socket, then a penny." Touch the open sensors.

We probably don't need to tell you that trying this kind of 'challenge' is too dangerous. Money is electrically conductive, so putting it near a piece of metal plugged into a power outlet can be too risky. Of course, most adults Those who see this "challenge" laugh and shrug, but young children don't always experience the same limitations or awareness of potential consequences.

Even if they see it, they may be tempted to assume that if it's not safe, the challenge won't arise.

To be clear, we're not saying that Alexa somehow rebelled here and maliciously chose a malicious challenge . The virtual assistant extracts most of its results from the web, and it just so happens that it picked a dangerous one. Artificially he simply could not parse the wider textures.

Amazon later confirmed that the incident was legitimate, and they confirmed it. We've already taken a "quick action" to fix it. Judging from Twitter's responses to Luddal's main post, it appears that Amazon has already disabled the "Tell Me a Challenge" feature, which is probably the best.
