NHTSA is looking for a Tesla Passenger Play feature

The ODI rating includes the 2017-2022 Tesla 3, S, X and Y models, and focuses on a feature called Passenger Play that allows certain games to be played on the center console screen while the vehicle is in operation. While on the move, ODI fears that this feature may distract drivers and increase the chance of an accident, and various changes to the user interface.
According to ODI Gameplay on Tesla screens only worked when the car was parked.
In combination with Tesla Auto Pilot mode, drivers can't completely ignore the road to Play a game on the center console. While such a scenario is undoubtedly the goal of automotive drive systems, we are still a long way from reaching this level of capability. p>
Even a quick look down to see a passenger's progress in a game can have serious consequences.
