Highly predictable: Love your attractive iPhone 12 but trying to keep the weather out? In this case, Apple has good news for you. From today you can get a MagSafe battery pack for $99. As the name suggests, this is a magnetic battery that attaches to the back of your phone for "safe and secure" wireless charging, no matter where you are.

To be clear, the MagSafe battery pack is not the Apple-owned MagSafe plug-in. It's less than half the price ($39) and is designed to sit at your desk or some other living area.

On the other hand, the battery pack is mainly for domestic products. Charge the batteries. You can technically plug it in and sit at your desk to make it look similar to regular MagSafe, but that's probably not the ideal way to use it.

The MagSafe battery capacity is only 1460 mAh. option, so it is not enough to take the iPhone 12 out in the city and if it is used without an adapter, it will only charge at 5W. If you want to connect it to a wall adapter, the charging speed will increase but you will have to buy a separate device - and Apple recommends it.

< p> Currently, the Apple-branded 20W USB-C Power Adapter is $20. Of course, the company's website doesn't include its USB-C cable in this package, so if you want the official version, you'll have to pay another $20. In general, if you prefer to use only official Apple products, you'll likely spend about $140 for a MagSafe battery pack and "recommended" accessories, assuming you don't have the latter at home.

Of course, this does not mean that the device is not worth the money. It is up to you to decide. One thing is for sure, though: Apple fans have been clamoring for a wireless mobile charging solution since the MagSafe product line was revived last year. And of course, there's a classic Apple compatibility here: The battery pack's all-white design is attractive, and it's likely to pair with the iPhone 12 in different colors (and cases).
